Terms & Conditions

Passports and Visas:

Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents and MUST CHECK with the respective consulate(s) or visa agency to determine whether any visas or passports are required. Passports are required to be valid for at least 6 months beyond the dates of travel. Some countries require a full blank page in the passport for stamping purposes.

Documents:

Provided full payment is received no later than your Final Payment Due date, documents will be sent via email 21 days prior to the onset of services. If paper documents are requested when e-documents are available, documents will be delivered via Express mail approximately 2 weeks prior, and a fee of $30 will apply. A complete street address is required (no PO boxes).

Children:

  All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Discounts for children sharing a room as third may apply to children under 12. Most hotels do not permit children under 18 to occupy a room without an adult. Accompanying adults are responsible for the safety of their children including to provide any necessary safety equipment (such as infant/child seats) where appropriate. Please note that many countries have adopted practices to prevent international abductions of children. If a person under the age of 18 years will be travelling with an adult other than his/her parents, or with only one parent, a notarized letter written by the parents, or non-travelling parent, granting authorization to travel, including the dates of travel should be carried.

PRICES: 

Prices are per person based upon shared twin room occupancy. Prices do not include items of a personal nature such as laundry, wines, water, beverages, food other than clearly mentioned in the program, passport and visa fees, insurance, and foreign port taxes unless specifically indicated in the package inclusions. Prices are correct at time of publication; however, as airfares continually fluctuate and classes of service may have limited capacity, tour package prices and availability will change accordingly. If the price of an identical land package is lower than the price you paid, we may issue the difference in the form of a travel credit good for any new escorted tour or river cruise booking; credit is valid for one year from the date of issue. In case of human or computer error, Famtastic Tour reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or service. A full refund will be made to passengers who choose not to pay an increase, provided Famtastic Tour receives a written cancellation within five days of the price increase notification.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION:

Deposit: 

All reservations (except where specified): 20% of the total package with a minimum of $250 per person*.

  • * Travel Protection (Insurance) premiums are not covered by the initial deposit.
  • * Flight tickets may be included in the initial deposit but should be paid in full, as soon as requested.

Full Payment:

All reservations (except where specified): 70 days prior departure or starts of your trip.

Instant Purchase Airfare: Time of reservation.

Special Events, some customized groups and/or Sea Cruise sailings: Earlier payment and/or as described on your booking.

Late Payment:

If there is any outstanding balance by the Final Payment Due date listed on your invoice, all travel services will be subject to automatic cancellation. A service reinstatement fee of $50 will be added to your invoice and must be paid in advance in order to apply for reconfirmation of services.

Last Minute: 

All reservations must be made no later than 14 days prior to departure. If requested services cannot be confirmed, payment will be refunded. If services are confirmed, final payment is due on the spot and all applicable cancellation penalties will apply.

Form of Payment: 

US Dollar check, bank check, money order, wire transfer, major credit cards or debit cards. All payments made within 25 days of departure must be made by credit or debit card. Credit card charges will be accepted by phone or online to fulfill non-refundable deposit requirement. Final payment will be processed upon submission of a completed Famtastic Tour Credit Card Form.

Third-party credit cards are not acceptable. Payments made by wire transfer must include an additional $20 wire transfer fee.

There is a $40 fee for returned or bounced check.

Refunds: 

Refunds are processed to the credit card(s) originally used for payment, up to the total amount paid, with any remaining balance paid by US Dollar check.

Cancellation: 

Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing by email. If you do not receive an acknowledgement within 48 hours, call to ensure your information was received. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received and based on the following dates prior to departure. Cancellation fees apply to packages and/or services as indicated below. Package cancellation fees include airfare. Once airfare is purchased, airline tickets will be issued and are always subject to 100% penalty. After airfare purchase, only the remaining land package will be subject to the fees below.

All reservations, except where specified, cancelations fees will be applied as follows:

  • Up to 60 days prior to departure: $ 150 per person.
  • 59 to 31 days prior to departure: 50% of cost
  • 30 to 07 days prior to departure: 75% of cost
  • 6 days or less prior to departure: 100% of cost

No refund will apply to any unused services including but not limited to flights, accommodations, touring, meals and/or transportation.

Cancelation of Airfare & Rail Tickets:

  • Airfare : 100% of airfare.
  • Rail tickets : 100% of rail tickets.

Special Events & Products: 

Deposit, Final Payment, and cancellation penalties may differ for special events; some customized groups including group tour airfares, tours with internal flights, and/or certain sea cruises based on cabin category, length of sailing, and seasonality, as well as select packages and hotels, and will be advised at time of booking.

Reservation Changes: 

Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a $50 per person charge plus any additional supplier fees; on/ after the Final Payment Date, the $50 charge is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply. This includes name changes* and removal of any services such as optional tours and transfers. *Please note that name changes to airline reservations are subject to full cancellation and rebooking.

Replacing a traveling passenger with another traveling passenger constitutes a cancellation, subject to cancellation penalties, and is not covered by this Reservation Changes policy. Changes or additions after departure are subject to local rates at the time of amendment and must be paid directly by the passenger to the service provider. There are no refunds for unused services.

International Tours:

Hotels, sea and river cruises outside of the United States are not required to comply with ADA requirements and therefore may not have ramps, wide entryways or elevators to accommodate disabled passengers or devices such as wheelchairs, walkers and motorized scooters. Due to physical constraints and space limitations, wheelchairs, walkers and motorized scooters may not be taken aboard motor coaches and river cruises.

Service Animals:

Service animals cannot be accommodated on international escorted tours. Passengers on USA escorted tours who require a service dog because of a disability should check prior to booking a tour.

Airline Booking: 

Famtastic Tour offers a choice of airlines and airfares for your convenience, but is not responsible for the services and policies imposed by the airline selected. Airline schedules and flights are subject to change without notice. Famtastic Tour is not responsible for penalties incurred for tickets, international or domestic, not issued by Famtastic Tour due to schedule and/or flight changes.

Airline Contact Information:

Passengers are responsible to provide Famtastic Tour with their name as it appears on their passport, date of birth, gender, address, phone number and email for all passengers. Passengers must ensure that names are correctly listed. Famtastic Tour will not be responsible for passengers who do not receive documents or are denied boarding due to inaccurate information.

Airline Name Changes: 

Any name change including minor spelling corrections may require airline reservations to be canceled and rebooked. Reservations are subject to current availability and pricing at the time of rebooking. Once airline tickets are issued, subsequent name corrections will be subject to an airline rebooking fee which may be as much as the full value of the airline ticket plus a $50 revision fee per change. Famtastic Tour will not be held responsible for the denial of services by a carrier due to any name discrepancy. Name and Name changes must be advised in writing.

Airline Taxes & Surcharges:

If you purchased airfare, airline taxes and surcharges are included. Prior to completion of full payment there is a potential for a price increase(s) due to increases in government-levied taxes and fees and/or increased surcharges. To avoid potential increases, you may choose to accelerate your final payment in order that your tickets may be issued. Once issued, airline tickets are no longer subject to potential increases but are fully non-refundable. Certain overseas domestic flights are subject to air taxes which can only be paid locally; in these cases, the specific flights and amounts of those taxes are indicated in our package presentation and pre-departure documentation.

Airline Tickets:

Once full payment is received, airline tickets will be issued and are fully non-refundable. Should airline tickets require to be issued earlier than the Final Payment Due date, you may be required to pay a larger non-refundable deposit and/or complete full payment. Once issued, Published Instant Purchase Airfare tickets normally may be changed prior to the departure date and the airfare applied toward travel within 12 months of the original date of issue for a fee of $200 or more plus any difference in airfare; specific fees and policies may vary by airline. Please note that some airlines do not accept all major credit cards for payment of Published Instant Purchase Airfare.

Land Arrangements:

The Tour Operator reserves the right to change the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. In all cases, Famtastic Tour will do its best to maintain the content of the tour. The Tour operator reserves the right to change the hotels listed on the tour for others of similar quality.

Responsibility and Liability:

Famtastic Tour acts as agent for services provided by operators herein and cannot be held liable for any services provided listed in this website, flyers or brochures or any other services incidental thereto. Further the responsibilities of air carriers are limited in accordance with international agreements and tariffs. Whereas Famtastic Tour and the participating airlines and tour operators operate the land tours offered under this program only as agents of the aircraft, railroads, car rental contractors, steamship lines, hotels, bus operators, sightseeing contractors and others who provide the actual land arrangements. We are not liable for any act, omission, delay, injury, loss, damage or nonperformance occurring in connection with these tours. The Passenger contract in use by the airline concerned shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. Famtastic Tour reserves the right to bring legal action to collect damages in the event that purchaser fails to pay any fees due and owing for services, including cancellation fees as set out in the section entitled ’Cancellations & Refunds’. The parties agree that should legal action be commenced, the prevailing party will be entitled to his/her or its reasonable attorney fees and court costs in addition to the actual damages sustained and proven.

Passenger responsibility:

Passenger has read the above terms and conditions and agrees to each of them. Passenger hereby warrants that they fully understand each of them. Specifically passenger understands that should he/she cancel their trip for any reason, passenger will be charged the cancellation fee set out in the ’Cancellations & Refunds’ section.

Travel Protection: 

Missing a vacation is bad enough. Losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Therefore, we recommend Travel Protection that helps provide coverage for Trip Cancellation, Interruption, Baggage Loss or Delay, Medical Expenses and more.

Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is the passenger’s responsibility to verify whether his/her local health insurance carrier provides coverage while traveling outside of the USA. Please contact your insurance carrier for details Famtastic Tour strongly advises that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your tour.

Entire Agreement Severability: This is the entire agreement of the parties and it may be amended only by written agreement signed by both Famtastic Tour and the client. If any part of this agreement is held unenforceable by a court of law, the rest of this agreement will nevertheless remain in force and effect.
